Business law, handled by senior people.

We advise companies, founders and boards on deals, disputes and the everyday legal work of running a business. The partner you meet is the partner who does the work.

How an engagement works

The same four steps for a contract review or a contested acquisition. You always know which one you are in.

  1. Step 1: First call

A partner listens to what you are facing, free of charge, and tells you plainly whether we are the right firm.

  2. Step 2: Assessment

Within a week you receive a written view of the issue, the options and a fixed or capped fee for the first phase.

  3. Step 3: Engagement

The partner who assessed the matter leads it, with a small team you meet at the start and who stays to the end.

  4. Step 4: Resolution

We close the deal or resolve the dispute, then send a short note on anything you should watch for afterwards.

“They told us on the first call that the deal could close in eight weeks if we made two decisions early. We made them, and it closed in seven.”
